Work

Our work.

Tools made in the same spirit, each for an entirely different trade. Each stands on its own - because it should.

Kerf preview poster

A web editor for direct manipulation.

Kerf

Kerf is a desktop editor that keeps code and the rendered page in sync as you work. Click something on the page, land in the source. Change the source, watch the preview update without reload.

Why it exists

Visual editors abstract the code away. Code editors hide the page. Every serious web developer we know has wanted the pair to move together - without fighting a framework for the privilege. Kerf is what that looks like when you give yourself permission to design for one kind of person, deeply.

Who it's for

Front-end developers and web designers who still care about the HTML and CSS they ship.

Sage preview poster

Program management that takes the plan seriously.

Sage

Sage is a program management tool for people who have to do the actual work of running a program - defining the problem, laying out the trade-offs, tracking risks, and reporting up.

Why it exists

Most program management tools are glorified task lists wearing a planning costume. The thinking happens in slide decks and spreadsheets, and the tool becomes a burial ground. Sage puts the thinking first: structured worksheets that capture how a decision got made, a live RAID register, governance you can actually use.

Who it's for

Program managers coordinating multiple related projects, especially where the plan needs to survive scrutiny.

Notch preview poster

Personal finance, measured honestly.

Notch

Notch is a household finance app built around bills, balances, and what's about to happen. Not a scoreboard. A ledger.

Why it exists

The finance tools people actually need are not the ones that exist. Most chase engagement: streaks, points, nudges to categorize coffee. Notch goes the other way - it tells you what's due, what's covered, and what's coming, and then it gets out of your way. No bank linking required. Your data stays yours.

Who it's for

Households managing recurring bills and forecasting cash flow without surrendering their banking credentials to yet another app.
